Privacy Policy for Dragonfly Books:
General Policy: Dragonfly Books does not provide or share anyone's individual personal
information with or to anyone else for any reason. Dragonfly Books does not sell anyone's
personal information to anyone else for any reason.
Personal information includes items such as: name, e-mail address, shipping and/or
mailing address, phone numbers, etc.
The personal information that you provide to us as a result of correspondence with us
through our website e-mail address "info@dragonflybooks.net (Contact us page)" or
through submission of our book order form "(Volume Book Order Form page)" to us is
strictly held between you and Dragonfly Books.
Special Note for Our Kid's Comments Page: Parental permission must be provided
prior to our posting a child's book review comments of A Cat Named Fish and a Fish
Named Cat. Even then we will post no more than the date of the comment, the comment,
the child's first name, age, city, and state. There will be no specific identifiers posted: no
last name, no school name, and no photo. The only exception to providing the name of
the school is described next.
Teacher Submitted Comments ... School names will only be mentioned if the comment is
provided from a classroom school teacher who provides either a summary of the students'
comments or a class's jointly written comment. In any case, we will post only the date, the
book review comment, the teacher's name, the school name, the city, and the state; but
not any child's name. In other words, we prefer to be safer by not linking a child's name
and their comments with the name of their specific school.
Only those comments that contain information appropriate to the mission of Dragonfly
Books' website will be posted. Also, comments that are somehow not in compliance with
our Internet Host's Web Content Agreement will not be posted.
Dragonfly Books retains the sole discretion as to what will or will not be posted and when.
Time constraints may not allow posting of comments as soon as desired.
Summary: The realities of our present day and age require caution. Our policy is
effective within our ability and within the protections in place by our Web Host and our own
practices. Computer hackers are at work constantly attempting to steal and glean
information for their own underhanded intentions. This requires our policy. And, it
requires everyone's alertness on the internet. Your understanding and assistance are
appreciated.
