A QUIET PLACE ... a quiet place for you. Stop for a few minutes and contemplate the Father. Us
earthly fathers are not even a mere shadow of Him. But, I have hope that the best of my character may
give my precious ones-- my wife and daughter -- a hint, a sliver of insight into Him. And if that, then a
hint of His boundless grace and love. In a poem I wrote, An Experiment of One, character is described
as a must. And, there is a line that describes a part of character as "hope". It goes like this, "Hope
flows and rises, like daybreak, belief and other life surprises." My prayer is that you sense in your core
a sliver of God's character in your husband ... in your father ... and the hope of daybreak, belief, and
other life surprises.
